Everyone in the UK has the right to free care from a GP. If you don’t have ID you can still register. Immigration status or nationality doesn’t matter – reception won’t ask for immigration documents.
To register you need to live within our catchment area. You can register:
- Online through the GP Registration Service
- By visiting the surgery in person and complete the application form at reception.
If you are registering at the surgery you may find it quicker and more convenient to print off the form required, complete at home and bring with you. To do this you should go to the GP Registration Service website and print the document under the heading “Other ways to register”:
You can download an interactive copy of our practice leaflet here.
You should also bring the following:
- 2 forms of identification for each person, one of which should be photo ID and one proof of address (eg utility bill).
- An existing Health Card (with NHS number) if you have one (Find your NHS Number here)
- Details of any existing Repeat Prescription medication you have from your previous surgery
New patients will normally be offered a preliminary health check when they register. All patients are allocated a named, accountable GP.
You can then register for online services
