Travel vaccinations and advice

Information on holiday and travel immunisations and/or advice about malaria prevention

You should aim to get advice at least eight weeks before you’re due to travel, as some jabs need to be given well in advance.

Before making an appointment:

  • Please print off and read our travel advice leaflet.
  • Print off and complete a travel health form for each person travelling and hand into the surgery.
  • Make an appointment for travel advice with the Practice Nurse at least one week after returning the form to the surgery (this gives the Practice Nurse time to work out an individual travel health plan for you).

For further information please visit Fit For Travel website which is an informative NHS travel website.

Please be aware that you need to pay for vaccinations that incur a charge (see below guide) before you receive them.
